Remembrance Sunday - Service and Parade

2014 is the centenary of the First World War.  On 5th May a short ceremony was held at Corbridge Cemetery to unveil a plaque commemoration the outbreak of the war.

The annual Remembrance Day Parade leaves Corstopitum Social Club (car park), Corbridge, usually at 10.10 am for the annual Service of Remembrance in St. Andrew's Church, Corbridge at 10.50 am.

All service personnel, ex servicemen, uniformed organisations, local organisations are invited to take part in the parade.

In addition, a short Service of Remembrance and silence is held on 11th November at 10.50 am annually at the Lychgate at St. Andrew's Church, Corbridge, (if wet in church) .  Everyone is most welcome to come along.
